Eric was shaving when he noticed an unusual bump on his throat. His doctors investigated, and Eric was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
Over the next several months, he had surgery and underwent intensive radiation and treatment at UPMC.
“The doctors made me feel very comfortable right out of the gate,” Eric says.
Eric, now cancer-free has been able to return to his family and favorite activity, deck hockey. He thanks the doctors, nurses, and therapist at UPMC.
“It was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life,” Eric says.
